Tour Description
Early in the morning, at 07:00 AM sharp, our guide will arrive at your accommodation to commence our journey. We will depart from Santa Marta heading towards the Tayrona National Natural Park via the Troncal del Caribe highway. Our route will take us to the "Palangana" area, leading us to the park's second entrance.
We will make a brief stop to purchase the park entrance tickets and register each visitor. Please note that the park opens at 8:00 AM and limits daily visitors to 3,535, making it crucial to start early to avoid long queues.
Once we've identified ourselves at the park entrance, we will drive for another 20 minutes to Las Seven Waves. During this drive, you'll observe a tropical dry forest populated with cacti and shrubs. If we're fortunate, we might spot some mammals, such as howler monkeys and squirrels, in the area.
This beach is renowned for its strong currents and numerous waves crashing onto the shore. From there, we will take a 20-30 minute walk to the Siete Olas Viewpoint, where you can admire a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea and Tayrona Park's beaches.
We will then proceed to Neguanje beach, where, after receiving guidance from our expert, we will board a boat to Playa Cristal, a journey of approximately 10 minutes.
Upon arriving at Playa Cristal, the clear waters and white sands will beckon you to unwind, savor the sea breeze, and relax.
Close to the beach is a vibrant reef, home to a diverse array of marine life, making it a perfect spot for snorkeling and diving. This activity is optional, but feel free to contact us if you'd like to include it in your itinerary.
You will have free time to stroll along the beach, bask in the sun, and swim in the sea. Around 01:00 PM, the guide will suggest dining options for lunch (not included).
Our return journey begins around 3:00 PM, as we take the boat back and then drive to the park's exit. We will conclude the day by returning you to your accommodation, ending the tour between 06:00 and 07:00 PM.
