Descripción del Tour

Prepare for an unforgettable journey filled with music, legends, and breathtaking landscapes as we explore the essence of vallenato. Starting in Riohacha, our adventure takes us through the southern region of La Guajira and the northern part of Cesar, uncovering the locations that inspired iconic songs, the figures that defined generations, and towns rich in tradition.

Our day begins bright and early as we depart from Riohacha and head south into La Guajira. Our first destination is Barrancas, a mining hub where you can marvel at the colossal Cerrejón truck, a symbol of the largest coal industry in Latin America.

Next, we venture to Fonseca, the hometown of renowned folklore artists. Here, we'll admire sculptures dedicated to Carlos Huertas, the cherished singer from Fonseca, and Luis Martínez, known as the unforgettable Pollo Vallenato.

Our journey continues to San Juan del Cesar, with a detour to La Junta, birthplace of the legendary Diomedes Díaz. We'll explore the renowned Casa Museo La Ventana Marroncita, a place brimming with nostalgia and stories. A stroll through Cacique Park reveals a statue of Diomedes alongside an impressive exhibition of his music albums.

Upon reaching Valledupar, a delicious traditional lunch awaits us by the Guatapurí River at the well-known Balneario Hurtado. Post-lunch, we continue our homage to the most emblematic sites in this city of vallenato.

At the Glorieta de los Juglares, we'll encounter sculptures of Diomedes, Martín Elías, and other musical icons. Our tour includes the Parque de la Provincia, honoring figures like Kaleth Morales, Jorge Oñate, Iván Villazón, Carlos Vives, and others who have taken vallenato to global stages. Finally, we pass by the Glorieta Consuelo Araujonoguera, a tribute to the Pilonera Mayor, founder of the Vallenato Legend Festival.

As the afternoon draws to a close, we return to Riohacha, enriched with melodies, tales, and the genuine essence of the Colombian Caribbean.
