Our initial stop will be at the MioCable station, where the cable car will transport us to Comuna 20. Since its launch, the MioCable has stood for more than just a transit option; it has become a symbol of progress and empowerment for the commune's residents and its neighboring areas.
From the cable car, we'll capture exclusive panoramic views of the commune and the city, enabling us to observe the urban transformation and the stunning beauty of Cali from above.
Upon reaching the Commune, a brief introduction to the area and its heritage will be presented. Comuna 20 encompasses 11 neighborhoods, with the notable Siloé being prominent, which has faced significant challenges, including times of violence, economic hardships, and conflicts related to drug trafficking and the presence of unlawful armed factions.
