Our adventure kicks off at 07:00 AM at Parque de la 93, serving as our initial gathering point. Once everyone has boarded the van, we will proceed to the second meeting spot, anticipated to reach around 08:00 AM, where we will connect with the other travelers at the journalists' park and begin our journey to the city's outskirts.
At approximately 09:30 AM, we will pause to explore the premier and most traditional coffee-growing towns in the area. Here, we'll have the opportunity to capture photographs, appreciate the scenery, and delve into the local history.
By 11:00 AM, we will reach the Cafetera farm, where we delve into the Colombian coffee realm. We will uncover the history, cultivation methods, harvesting, and production of one of the world's finest coffees. There will be a chance to savor some of the region's best coffees and learn about innovative production techniques.
The farm we visit may vary depending on the season and weather, yet you will consistently visit farms acclaimed for their superior coffee quality, along with traditional cultivation and harvesting practices passed down through generations. During the farm visit, all participants can tour the coffee plantations and enjoy an assortment of souvenirs and coffee-centric products.
Following our enriching experience at the hacienda, we will make our way to the town market square to explore the region's fresh and traditional offerings. Here, we'll sample a few exotic Colombian fruits. At 02:00 PM, we will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at one of the area's typical restaurants (lunch not included).
At 03:00 PM, we will commence our return to Bogotá.
By 4:30 PM, we'll arrive back at la Candelaria, and by 5:30 PM, we will conclude our tour at Parque de la 93.
