Our photographic adventure kicks off at the designated meeting spot in the afternoon at 4:30 pm. We suggest arriving 10 minutes early to connect with the group, receive your selfie stick, and set it up with your smartphone.
Starting from the historic center of Cartagena, we'll set out towards the vibrant Getsemaní neighborhood. Our art and selfie expert guide will provide an overview of the history and artistic backdrop of Getsemaní. As you navigate through the neighborhood, you'll discover the most prominent murals and graffiti that embellish the streets. Each artwork stands as a distinct expression, enriching the urban landscape and emphasizing the role of art as a medium for reflection. You’ll encounter depictions of historical figures, symbols of Afro-Caribbean culture, along with artistic expressions that engage with themes of gender equality, social justice, and environmental conservation.
Every step through the neighborhood offers a chance to hone your photography and modeling skills; you'll have the opportunity to snap the best selfies while posing beside iconic murals. Our guide will provide tips on capturing the best shots and encapsulating the artistic essence of each piece.
