Your journey will start with a warm welcome at our meeting point in Getsemaní, where you will be introduced to your guide and local chef. From here, you’ll set off to the vibrant Bazurto Market, the heart of Cartagena’s culinary scene. As you wander through its lively and colorful aisles, you'll encounter an impressive array of local and exotic ingredients.
The guide will acquaint you with the vendors, who will share the fascinating stories behind their products. You’ll have the chance to taste fresh fruits like soursop, lulo, and mamey, along with sampling typical snacks, from stuffed arepas to fried empanadas. Additionally, you'll gain skills in selecting the finest ingredients and master the art of bargaining like a true Cartagena native, enjoying the renowned “ñapa,” that little extra sample always offered by vendors.
Following the market tour, you will return to the cooking studio, where the culinary demonstration will commence. Under the expert guidance of the chef, you’ll learn essential techniques of Colombian cuisine and be guided step by step in crafting traditional dishes.
Together with fellow participants, you’ll cook collaboratively, adhering to the chef’s instructions and receiving personalized tips. This relaxed, team-oriented experience will allow you to learn and experiment as you create your own renditions of the dishes.

2) Seafood Casserole Menu >> Available: Wednesday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

3) Ceviche Menu >> Available: Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
* Sea bass ceviche with plantain and lemongrass emulsion
* Shrimp and snail cocktail
* Vegetarian coconut, mango, and flower ceviche
* Crispy squid and green mango ceviche with corozo fruit and hibiscus
4) Red Snapper in Coconut Sauce >> Available: Saturday 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
