Tour Description

Day 1 – Arrival and Initial City Tour

Upon landing at El Dorado Airport, a driver will be ready to seamlessly transfer you to your hotel in the city. After checking in and taking a brief rest, kick off your adventure with the Hop-On Hop-Off Tourist Bus, available in two shifts: morning (9:00 AM) and afternoon (2:00 PM).

If your flight arrives in the morning, we recommend joining the afternoon tour. While the nearest stop to your hotel may vary, the service makes it convenient to board at any of its 12 stops. On this first day, we suggest completing the entire route without disembarking, perfect for getting acquainted with the city from a panoramic viewpoint.

This approximately 4-hour journey will reveal the contrasting facets of the capital: from the modern elegance of Zona T and Parque de la 93 to the colonial gems of the historic center. Notable landmarks you’ll see include:

International Center, featuring contemporary buildings and theaters.
Plaza de Mercado La Concordia, one of the most authentic markets frequented by Bogotá residents.
Monserrate, with its sanctuary and breathtaking views (you can visit the same day or save it for your next city excursion, depending on your arrival and departure times).

At the tour's conclusion (last stop around 6:00 p.m. at Parque de la 93), consider dining in this vibrant area, where you’ll find restaurants and bars with terraces, perfect for ending the day with delicious food in a laid-back setting.

Return to your hotel either independently or by taxi, which are safe and readily available in the area.

Day 2 – Self-Guided Exploration and Departure

Following breakfast, you'll have additional time to further explore the city using your still-valid hop-on hop-off bus ticket. This is an opportunity to spend more time at the spots that intrigued you the day before.

An excellent choice is starting at Monserrate Hill, where you can walk, take the funicular, or ride the cable car to enjoy Bogotá's most awe-inspiring views (Monserrate ticket not included). You might also visit the Gold Museum, stroll through the cobblestone streets of La Candelaria, or immerse yourself in the lively Chorro de Quevedo, the city's birthplace that now gathers artisans, students, and a diverse cultural crowd.

At the scheduled time, a private transfer will collect you from your hotel and take you to El Dorado Airport for your return flight, leaving you with the satisfaction of having explored Bogotá at your own pace in a brief period.
