* Day 1 – Welcome to Cali

Once you've settled into your chosen accommodation, enjoy some free time to acclimate and unwind in the vibrant capital of Valle del Cauca, renowned for its hospitality, music, and lively atmosphere.

In the afternoon, embark on a journey to uncover the city's secrets and its vibrant heart with a Walking Tour of the Historic Center, led by a knowledgeable local guide. Starting in the traditional San Antonio neighborhood, you'll explore iconic sites such as Plaza de Caicedo, San Pedro Cathedral, Teatro Jorge Isaacs, Parque de los Poetas, Puente Ortiz, and the enchanting Boulevard del Río. This tour showcases Cali's contrasts, where colonial heritage, urban poetry, and the rhythm of salsa harmoniously coexist. The tour will conclude at Plazoleta Jairo Varela, a lasting homage to Grupo Niche, an emblem of Cali's musical legacy.

Following the tour, you have the option to return with the group or explore this dynamic city further on your own, discovering its pulsating energy at every corner.

* Day 2 – Whale Encounter: Humpback Whales in Málaga Bay

Today promises an exhilarating natural adventure. The day begins early with a ground transfer from your hotel to Buenaventura, Colombia's principal Pacific port. From there, you'll board a speedboat to Juanchaco, traversing coastal landscapes until reaching the heart of Uramba Bahía Málaga National Natural Park.

Here, a team of native guides and local biologists will greet you, ready to embark on a specialized boat trip to witness the majestic humpback whales. These giants migrate annually from Antarctica to birth in these warm waters. You'll have the chance to observe the calves' spectacular leaps, the mothers' synchronized fin movements, and perhaps even catch their underwater songs. It's a moving spectacle in one of the planet's most biodiverse ecosystems.

After whale watching, enjoy a hike through the cliffs and natural caves of the area (tide permitting), where sea, jungle, and rocks converge in a magical setting. This experience concludes with a traditional lunch in Juanchaco and some free time to relax on the beach.

After crossing the western mountain range, you'll reach the town of Córdoba, where you'll board the renowned "brujitas", motorized wooden platforms that traverse old train tracks deep into the jungle.

Upon arriving in San Cipriano, you'll be greeted by the fresh air of the tropical rainforest. Enjoy a hike to natural pools and waterfalls, perfect for swimming and connecting with the pristine environment. Next, the highlight: tubbing, a fun and relaxing experience as you float down the river on an inner tube, surrounded by lush vegetation, bird songs, and the gentle murmur of the water.

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a leisurely breakfast or a final stroll on your own. Then, a private transfer will take you from your hotel to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport.
