Tour Description

  • Day 1 – Welcome to Bogotá and urban exploration by bike

Upon arrival at El Dorado Airport, our driver will be waiting to take you comfortably to your selected hotel in the city. Once you settle in and take a short break, you`ll get ready to immerse yourself in local life with a tour that goes beyond the touristy.

In the afternoon, you`ll experience an adventure on wheels on the Panoramic Bike Tour: Local Life, Graffiti and Fruit Market. Accompanied by a local guide, you`ll begin pedaling through the cobblestone streets of La Candelaria, where Bogotá was founded. You`ll pass by Plaza de Bolívar, Chorro de Quevedo, and the environmental axis of Avenida Jiménez, discovering the history, colonial architecture, and social transformations of this vibrant city.

During the tour, you`ll stop to explore a traditional market where you`ll taste exotic fruits and learn about Colombian cuisine. Then, marvel at urban art murals that tell stories of resilience, creativity, and popular culture, as you make your way to the Teusaquillo and Los Mártires neighborhoods. There you`ll discover tree-lined plazas, the Bullring and the famous Parkway, an epicenter of bohemian and youthful life.

To close with an authentic flavor, you`ll return to the starting point and enjoy a game of tejo, Colombia`s national sport, ideal for relaxing your muscles and sharing a few laughs with the group.

  • Day 2 – Market Flavors and Aromas with a Colombian Seal

Your morning will begin with a private tour to the Paloquemao market, where you`ll begin the Flavors of Colombia: Gastronomic Brunch tour in Paloquemao. You`ll walk among aisles full of tropical flowers, traditional bakeries and freshly made fried foods. Pandebonos, buñuelos, empanadas with artisanal chili peppers and several versions of arepas will whet your appetite while your guide tells you the secrets of each recipe.

In the fruit section, you`ll try unique flavors like sapote, borojó, and soursop, and learn about the ancestral and medicinal uses of some ingredients. To top it off, enjoy a typical Colombian breakfast with options like Santafereño tamale, lechona, or egg broth, all accompanied by freshly brewed coffee or hot chocolate.

After a short break, in the afternoon you`ll begin the Coffee Cacao Route: Tasting with a Seal of Origin in Bogotá. You`ll visit two signature coffee shops where you`ll learn about the process of growing, roasting, and preparing Colombian coffee, guided by expert baristas. In each tasting, you will discover the aromas and flavors that make Colombian coffee one of the most recognized in the world.

Then you will walk through the cobblestone streets of Quinta Camacho, a neighborhood with English architecture, until you reach an artisan chocolate shop. There you will learn about the production process of Colombian cocoa, classified as "fine aroma" and taste chocolates made with beans from different regions of the country. A sensory experience that combines history, flavor and an insight into the social impact of cocoa in Colombia.

  • Day 3 – Farewell to Bogotá with the flavor of Colombia in your memory

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to El Dorado Airport in total comfort. It will be time to say goodbye to Bogotá, a city that in just a few days will have revealed its soul to you: from the intense aromas of its coffee and the color of its markets to the mural stories of its streets and the warmth of its people.

You will take with you not only unforgettable postcards and flavors, but also a deeper understanding of what it means to be part of this diverse land.
