Tour Description
The tour is available every day throughout the year, setting off at 7:00 PM and concluding around 11:00 PM. The chiva (party bus) will collect you from your accommodation in downtown Medellín or a predetermined meeting point based on your location.
From the outset, the ambiance speaks volumes: live music, vibrant colors in every direction, and the unmistakable energy of a Medellín night. The chiva (party bus) revs up, and the journey kicks off along Las Palmas, one of the city's most iconic streets, presenting sweeping views of the illuminated Aburrá Valley that reveal the city's vastness from above.
The tour proceeds along La 70, the most popular strip of bars and restaurants in Laureles, where Medellín's nightlife pulses with its own unique rhythm. Following this, the tour hits La 33 in the Conquistadores neighborhood, a classic gathering spot for locals, and then moves to Provenza in El Poblado, the city's most cosmopolitan area, teeming with tourists, locals, and exceptional dining options.
The primary stop on the tour is in Itagüí or Sabaneta, two municipalities in the southern Aburrá Valley that boast a strong Paisa cultural identity. Here, you'll disembark from the chiva (a traditional bus), explore the area, soak in the atmosphere, and discover why Antioquian culture extends beyond Medellín's city limits. Sabaneta, in particular, is renowned for its religious devotion, small-town charm, and distinctive rumba (party scene).
The return to Medellín rounds off the journey with the same vibrant energy that marked its beginning.
