The activity begins with pick-up at your accommodation according to the selected time. Once in the car, our expert guide will provide you with information about the route, safety measures, and ensure you have everything you need to enjoy the hike.

We will travel by car for approximately 30 minutes to the starting point of the hike, located in the municipality of Envigado, more precisely in the El Salado area. Upon leaving the city, you can admire the beautiful landscapes surrounding the area, and the guide will share interesting information about the biodiversity and the transformation the area has undergone. Upon arriving at El Salado, we will begin our hike along trails surrounded by lush vegetation. As you walk, you can enjoy the birdsong. This area offers a great opportunity for birdwatching in their natural habitat. You`re sure to spot some of the most famous species, such as the white-fronted trogon, hummingbirds, or the rufous-breasted harrier.

As we venture deeper into the mountains, we`ll encounter streams that will mark our path, and the guide will help us identify different species of flora that we`ll find along the way.

After an hour and a half of hiking through steep and slippery sections, we`ll reach the Majestic La Miel waterfall, where you can marvel at its beauty and enjoy a well-deserved rest.The waterfall is 80 meters high and offers a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere, where the force of the water falling from above forms a curtain of foam and creates a revitalizing environment.

You will have time to take photos, refresh yourself in its crystal-clear waters, and simply enjoy this stunning natural setting.

After approximately 1 hour enjoying this environment, we will begin our return along the same path until we reach the original starting point. From there, we will get in the car and return to Medellín, with our energy recharged.
